How to Set Up a Project

In order to start working in a project, your username should be within the project group.

In order to check whether you are within the project group, you can execute the command "groups". This command will show the groups that you are member of and the project name should also appear there. If it is not, submit a ticket.

If you are in the project group, an alias with the name of the project will be defined automatically for your user. Execute that alias so that the system can configure itself specifically for that project.

After executing the project name alias, the system will redefine the user aliases with respect to the activated project. Check you aliases anew to find out the correct new alias to invoke Cadence.

Example:
IF you are working for a project using AMS processes, the new aliases are ams, amsFull, amsLayout.
